  7.     This is an updated version of Dave Haynie's "BindNames" program.  It
  8. lets you do all your Assigns with a single command.  It runs under all
  9. versions of AmigaDOS from 1.3 on up.
  10.  
  11.     Version 2.0 is improved over 1.0 in the following ways:
  12.  
  13.     o    Now allows spaces in volume and path names.
  14.     o    Now allows a different directory for "names" files rather
  15.         than SYS:Names.  This requires setting the environment
  16.         variable "BindNamesDirectory".
  17.     o    No longer capitalizes all your volume and path names.
  18.  
  19.     BindNames 2.0 is *NOT* 100% compatible with version 1.0.  If you
  20. want the old behavior, you have to use the "OLD" command-line option.  Read
  21. the documentation in the ReadMe file.
  22.  
  23.     BindNames does not support AmigaDOS 2.0 Assign features like "Assign
  24. ADD".  It just does plain, ordinary Assigns.
